A new baby! Not mine obviously but thus little beauty belongs to my cousin Emily.  Her name is Sophie Grace. I think this makes 30 great grandchildren for my grandma. Bless you Sophie and welcome to the world xx

Day 2 of the half mara weekend.  Took a minute off our time from yesterday.  Much colder and foggier today.

Muscles a bit sore but will be completing the run tomorrow.

Part 1 of our virtual half marathon today. 1C…brrrrr but we warmed up pretty quick through the 7km.  That’s a quarter of the way into the challenge now.

Still on a high from Meg’s Mega run yesterday.   But today is a new day….

-7C this morning in Canberra. Twas a treadmill run kind of day.  However now, at lunchtime, there is sun shining and not a cloud in the sky. This was a tree on my walk around the hospital block. And this is a shadow of me!!

Lovely winters Day.

Meg running today at the ACT cross country comp. She came 4th in under 13s landing her a spot in the ACT team. Nationals are late August in Melbourne.  Her coach is my yr 9 pastoral teacher!!

So proud of Meg. She has taken every run and training session seriously and improved so much over the past 12 months. She totally deserves her spot on the team. Well done Meg xx

Tomorrow will be winter.  Yay I love this time of year. 
So a few things are happening. …I’m doing a 100km challenge for June and a virtual half marathon with Meg next weekend and to remember it all I’m going to do a photo a day of things that make me feel happy and grateful.  All winter long….photo a day.  That’ll keep me busy and warm.
